New ventures, new horizons

Very shortly I am about to leave my (10 year) career in academia to join a large multi-national corporation (IBM). In this blog I hope to share the experience of learning to work for IBM, retrospective contemplation of any gotcha's I fall foul of and, hopefully some tips on how to navigate through the corporate world that I will pick up along the way.
